Patrick McGrew


Patrick McGrew teaches:

Patrick started playing percussion in 8th grade and playing the drum set in 10th at the age of 16. He also started playing in my church where he was the auxiliary percussionist and timpanist, as well as youth praise band drummer. He is a current Jazz Studies major at NCCU. He has toured the north-eastern US with a rock band, performed in the NC All Star Percussion Ensemble, perform contemporary Christian and Gospel music, and plays with different jazz groups around NC. Patrick has studied with Thomas Taylor, Dr. Eric Willie, Larry Q. Draughn, and Branford Marsalis. Patrick McGrew is endorsed by T-Cymbals.


Autumn Rainey


Autumn Rainey teaches:

Autumn Rainey is a Greensboro native who is a recent graduate of North Carolina Central University, where she majored in Jazz Studies and performed with the NCCU Vocal Jazz ensemble. Prior to that, Autumn was a member of the family band, Rainstorm, performing all around the east coast over a six year span. Autumn accomplishments include features in Grammy-nominated album Take Note, from the NCCU VJE, as well as a feature on the soundtrack of the HBO film “The Immortal Story of Henrietta Lacks.” Autumn currently works as a professional vocalist, instructor, and clinician around the Triangle area and beyond.


Shaquim Muldrow


Shaquim Muldrow teaches:

Shaquim Muldrow is an American jazz saxophonist and composer. A native of South Carolina, Shaquim is paving a way for himself in the RDU jazz scene and beyond. Shaquim has made appearances at the Shed jazz club. As an instructor Shaquim has been interested in teaching since high school, becoming his school's first student conductor. Before teaching professionally, Muldrow would offer lessons to his peers in high school and college. To this day, Shaquim looks to provide information to students in ways that they can easily grasp so they can find the joy in learning.

Le’Andra’s talents began at the age of three, where she began to play in her hometown churches as the Sunday pianist. After independent study up to the collegiate level, she studied (and continues to study) techniques involving re-harmonization and melodic manipulation. Le'Andra actively teaches a variety of genres of music. Her favorite teachings are on Chopin Nocturnes, as well as Jazz and Popular Music standards. She likes to teach a variety of objectives in lessons, including theory, technique, as well as reading and practice tips away from the studio. In her spare time, she loves traveling with her husband and two children, reading with chocolate in-hand, dining out at local restaurants, and studying personal finance.
