Where are your prices?
Our prices are located under “Schedule an Appointment”. Simply click on the lesson type you’re interested in!
Where are you located?
All of our instructors are located all around Durham. To find an instructor near you, click Schedule an Appointment, and select the appointment type you would like. The instructors’ names and locations will become viewable at that point.
Do I need to bring anything to our first lesson?
Not at all! We will supply you with all materials needed, which includes a notebook, a folder or binder with page protectors. We may also supply you with other materials, depending on the instructor and lessons goals.
What musical instruments does LMS teach?
We offer piano, vocal, drum, ukulele, and guitar lessons. We also offer General Music Tutoring (for grade school and university students who need help in a musical subject area such as theory, arranging, music history, etc.) and Songwriting Consultations for anyone working on song ideas.
What performance/mentorship opportunities are available?
In addition to our yearly recital, there are other opportunities to perform or compete in a variety of settings. In addition, opportunities are available to shadow your instructor in a variety of performance settings in order to get a better understanding of performance etiquette, dealing with performance anxiety, executing specific styles in certain settings, and more!
I want to schedule a lesson at the same time every week. How do I do that?
There are two ways to do that:
1) You could purchase a recurring package plan, located under "Subscriptions" when you scroll after clicking "Schedule an Appointment". This gives you a package of 4 lessons at a discounted rate. The package recurs monthly on the same billing day as your first subscription.
2) You could schedule a bulk of lessons back-to back by clicking on "Recurring" after you select the date and time of your lesson. This will require you to pay for the sum total of lessons you are scheduling up-front. Please also note that the lessons are not discounted in this method.
What types of lessons do you offer?
We currently offer lessons with durations of 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60 minutes. We offer in-studio, in-home, and online lessons in piano, vocal, ukulele, guitar, drums, and songwriting. We also offer buddy lessons (30 minutes, 2 students, in addition to other programs and opportunities to supplement your musical growth.
What payment options do you offer?
We offer weekly payment options, monthly (recurring subscription of 4 lessons/mo.) payment options, as well as semester (packaged payment for 12 weeks of lessons) payment options. The monthly and semester payments are offered at a discounted rate.
What forms of payment does Le'Andra's Music Studio accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Please see our Studio Policies for a full disclosure of our payment methods and payment policies.
Does Le'Andra's Music Studio utilize any Method Books?
This varies from instructor to instructor. Please see our Staff and Instructors page to learn more about each instructors preferred method of teaching.
